Pres: Minutes from last month had a correction for December Minutes. Under the subject of shotguns Ron said instead of targets it should have been backboards. Minutes was passed.
Treasure: Gerry said that there was no report this month.
Secretary:
- Quick books. Cindy said that was able to get the information the club needs to get to our records and has emailed the information to Melanie and all the board.
- Law Enforcement: I am having issues when they request to use our facility; they are not providing all the information needed to book them access. She will have to email everyone a letter asking them to provide all the information when they request time on the range.
- Card Reader: I am still working on getting quotes on this issue.
Vice- Pres: Bill had nothing to report. Ron asked when they were going to put the gate post in. Bill said when do you need me? No date was provided.
Range Master:
- Turning point: Gerry got a letter thanking the club for the $175.00 donation for the Christmas Basket; he also said that the American Legion and the VFW gave $250.00 each to help out too.
- Weekend Open Range duty. We had volunteers for this next month.
- Friends of NRA Grant- they will decide on January 13th or 14th who will get the grant money. Unfortunately, we will have to apply next year to get money for retaining the wall. It was suggested that we ask Enforcement to help us out with letters on why we need to upgrade the wall. We should be getting from them a 10-22 rifle, and a 22 pistol, with 4 mages for each and 5 cases of ammo. There was a list of items that was submitted. This is the 2nd time that we have put in for a grant. We can apply every year, the next time by 12-6-24.
President:
- Ron said that Gerry’s granddaughter worked on this grant for many hours, and we would like to thank her by getting her a $100.00 gift card. Motion passed.
- Ike contacted PUD to check the light at the front gate. It is now working correctly.
- Last month Bill said that we are done with Cher. Mike Sacry said that we should report her to the IRS. Ron said that he sent her a certified letter, but it came back.
- He took on Tues 133 lbs. of brass and got $251.00 from the recycle.
