General Meeting
Meeting called to order at 7:30 pm
Board members in attendance as follows:
Ron Jones- President, Bill Pitman – Vice-President, Gerry Simmons- Range Master, Caseman Thompson – Interim Secretary
4 members were in attendance.

Gerry advised of club treasury balances as follows:
November beginning balance = $22919.73
November income = $747.75
November expenses = $964.88
Savings ending balance = $20336.52
CD ending balance = $10095.79
Shelter fund YTD= $547.35
October beginning balance = $25528.02
October income = $2317.75
October expenses = $4926.40
Savings ending balance = $22919.37
CD ending balance = $10095.79

Weekend duty:
14 Dec. is not covered
15 Dec. potentially Robert Isaacson
28 Dec. Gerry Simmons
29 Dec. Len Thompson advised he could take 29 Dec.

Gerry advised workdays are the 5 th Saturday of the month as they occur during the year.
Discussed potential negative monetary incentives for range duty and work duty no shows.
Gerry advised the club annual meeting is moving from May to 15 April due to attendance
availability of members that time of year.

Club election ballots are to be sent to members no more than 60 days before and no less than 45 days before the election in April. In order for the club to organize/print/send ballots we need submissions for officer names by 27 Jan.

Ron advised the grant submission for the upper range was submitted in time.
Paul Langner (503-741-0175) was in attendance as a ODFW hunters safety instructor and
came in to request use of the facilities for area ODFW hunters safety field day which includes classroom and live fire training for approx.. 4-5 hours. He advised of 24-25 kids and potential for 5 walk ins. Field day includes instruction, shooting 5 times a 22 or 20 ga. then a final exam.

Paul requested 6 club volunteers for the field day to assist including a Range Master. Paul
advised he would like to run the field day March, April and potentially May 2025 but would
like confirmation of club availability by the end of Dec./this month. Bill advised Paul he can
look at our club calendar and pick his time.

Ron advised and distributed a draft letter to club members (Down Range Newsletter) advising of needing help with range duty/work duty. The draft advised of monetary negative incentive if no range duty performed. A member in attendance advised that this information in short form should be placed on the club website requesting folks do range duty and hours per year.

Requirement is 4 hours of time range duty every 2 years for the current number of members.

It was also suggested that this requirement be listed of the membership application.
